WHAT IS LIMINAL TRAVEL?
The Space Between Being & Becoming

Hi, I’m Jamie — travel guide, ritual holder, and companion in threshold work. I’m here to walk with you into your next chapter.

Liminal Travel exists at the threshold — where who you’ve been meets who you’re becoming.

This work is for moments of transition: when something is ending, something new is stirring, or a quiet inner call is asking to be heard. I design intentional journeys that integrate meaningful travel with spiritual psychology, ritual, and embodied guidance — so you return home not just refreshed, but aligned with your next season of life.

Through personalized travel design, ritual, and inner guidance, I support individuals as they navigate change with clarity, care, and depth. This work honors both the outer journey and the inner one, creating space for reflection, insight, and real transformation.

Whether you are crossing into a new chapter, releasing what no longer fits, or standing in the space between, Liminal Travel offers a grounded, soulful path toward alignment, purpose, and becoming.

ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Jamie Martell!

I’m a guide for people standing at life’s thresholds — moments when something is ending, something new is calling, and the path forward isn’t quite clear yet.

For over two decades, I’ve supported individuals through change using a blend of spiritual psychology, embodied practice, ritual, and deep listening. My work is rooted in yoga, depth psychology, mythology, and intuitive guidance — with a grounded, practical approach that honors both the soul and the nervous system.

I believe transformation doesn’t happen by escaping your life, but by meeting it with presence, intention, and meaning. Travel, when held with care, can become a powerful container for this kind of inner work — offering perspective, initiation, and renewal.

Through Liminal Travel, I design journeys that honor where you’ve been, support where you are, and help you step consciously into what’s next. Whether we’re working together one-on-one or in a small group, my role is to walk beside you — offering structure, insight, and spaciousness for your own wisdom to emerge.

This work is personal. It’s intentional. And it’s rooted in the belief that the most meaningful journeys are the ones that change how you live when you return home.

WHY LIMINAL TRAVEL WORKS
Travel changes you when you travel with intention.

Most travel advisors plan trips.
I help you cross thresholds.

Liminal Travel is for those moments when something in you is shifting — when you’re between who you’ve been and who you’re becoming. My work blends soulful depth with grounded support, so your journey holds meaning and ease.

My approach weaves together:
• spiritual psychology
• ritual & embodiment practices
• intention-based travel design
• intuitive guidance
• thoughtful, practical logistics

You don’t have to choose between transformation and comfort.
You can have both.

WHAT MAKES LIMINAL TRAVEL DIFFERENT

Personalized journeys rooted in inner work
Every journey is designed around your inner season of life — not a generic itinerary. Travel becomes a mirror, a teacher, and a catalyst for growth.

Support before, during, and after travel
Transformation doesn’t happen only on the road. I guide you through preparation, intention-setting, the journey itself, and integration afterward — so insights don’t fade when you return home.

Alignment with life transitions
This work is especially powerful during thresholds — grief, reinvention, burnout, midlife shifts, spiritual awakening, or the quiet knowing that “something needs to change.”

Small, curated experiences
No crowds. No rushing. No cookie-cutter retreats. Experiences are intimate, intentional, and designed to leave space for reflection, connection, and presence.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What makes transformational travel different from a vacation or retreat?
A vacation helps you rest. A retreat offers temporary immersion. Transformational travel is designed to change how you relate to yourself and your life. It integrates intention, reflection, experience, and meaning — before, during, and after the journey.

What happens on a typical journey?
Each journey is unique, but may include intentional travel design, ritual, embodied practices, time in nature, cultural immersion, reflection, and guided integration. There is space for both solitude and connection, structure and flow.

Who is this work best for?
Liminal Travel is for seekers, creatives, caregivers, and life-long learners — people who feel a pull toward depth, meaning, and conscious change. You don’t need to have all the answers — just a willingness to listen inward.

How is support provided?
Support looks different depending on the offering, but always includes guidance before travel, availability during the journey, and integration afterward. You are never expected to “figure it out alone.”
